FUTURE MAKERS SCHOLARSHIP

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Partnering with York Memorial Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Lester B Pearson Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, ON and C. W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute and Westview Centennial Secondary School in North York, Makers will award four (4) grade 11 students with a scholarship valued at over $5,000 per student.

Over the summer of 2023, the scholarship will see four students completing real-life projects and working with Makers producers to see their passion projects come to life.

The goal is to pave a path for young, divergent perspectives in our industry by providing tools and support to encourage youth to discover the possibilities of a job in media. We hope to expand the initiative to other schools across Ontario, and eventually across Canada with the help of future partners.

Together we can make anything.
